1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BB Notes ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

BB Notes is an AI-powered note-taking application that provides:

PDF annotation and markup tools
AI tutoring and question-answering features
Document translation capabilities
Audio recording and transcription
Cloud synchronization (Pro feature)

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account using Apple ID or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

The App offers a free tier with limited AI features (10 requests per day).

4.2 Pro Subscription

Pro subscription provides expanded features including:

Increased AI usage quota
Cloud storage and sync
Advanced translation features
Priority support

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Important: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

4.4 Refunds

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple.

5. User Content

You retain all rights to the content you create, upload, or store in the App. By using our AI features, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

We do not claim ownership of your notes, documents, or any other content you create.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose
Upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
Use the AI features to generate harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content
Share your account credentials with others
Abuse the AI system to circumvent usage limits

7. AI Features Disclaimer

AI Limitations: AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only. It may contain errors or inaccuracies. Always verify important information from authoritative sources.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated responses. The AI should not be used as a substitute for professional advice in areas such as medicine, law, or finance.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and code, is owned by BB Notes and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

Copy or modify the App
Use our trademarks without permission
Reverse engineer the App's technology

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BB Notes shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data or content
Interruption of service
Errors in AI-generated content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

Your right to use the App will cease immediately
You may request deletion of your data
Paid subscriptions will not be refunded for the remaining period

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the App developer is located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
